Rywire's OBD1 Budget B-series and D-series compatible wire-tuck engine harness is nearly identical to their Mil-spec engine harness line with the primary differences being the type of wire used - single black wire color with expandable loom.
When you select your "Vehicle Type", select your vehicle chassis type, not the engine going into the car as this tells us what interior "Chassis Adapter" to use for your setup. If your application is not listed, Rywire can probably make one for you - so please select "other/custom" and we will contact you for the details. This harness is cross-compatible with any D series or B series engine.
Each harness will come with a custom back side sub-harness (chassis adapter) that will be proprietary to the chassis you choose on the drop down menu. This way if you ever change chassis you will only need a new sub-harness, not a whole new engine wire loom!
All connectors and materials are new. Each connector is crimped with pneumatic heads to ensure an OEM crimp every time, then tagged with a white identification label for easy installation. All heavy interference circuits are protected and grounded with proper wire covering. Our engine harnesses are 100% quality tested pin to pin; And resistance checked to ensure no voltage fluctuations.
This Rywire budget engine harness is made with OBD1 (92-95) ECU Connectors. An ECU adapter must be used for OBD2a or OBD2b ECU's if necessary. Rywire budget harnesses does not support USDM OBD2 ECU's. Aftermarket ECU's using OBD2 plugs & Non-US OBD2 ECUs are compatible! (except for H22 and GSR stock computers).
These harnesses are warrantied and guaranteed to work, however they are non-refundable if installed. Because the back-side (interior/shock tower connection) separates from the main harness, the engine harness can be used on multiple chassis's provided the engine itself uses the same components. Rwyire offers the back-side harness separately only over the phone for previous engine harness customers.

OBD1 to OBD2a ECU Adapter (Addt'l Fee):
Need to adapt an aftermarket OBD2a or JDM OBD2a type ECU? Available as an add-on in the pull down menu.
Alternator Adapter (Addt'l Fee):
This harness comes equipped with an OBD0/1 type alternator connector by default. If you are using an OBD2 alternator you will need a OBD1 to OBD2 alternator adapter - available as an add-on in pull down menu.

This harness is equipped with OBD1 injector type clips by default. If you require a different injector type (ie. OBD1 to OBD2, OBD1 to RDX, OBD1 to Injector Dynamics) these adapters are available HERE.
